The role and key responsibilities
As Purchasing Strategy & Reporting Manager, you will work at the intersection of strategy, data analysis, reporting, and transformation, enabling the organization to achieve its goals and drive impactful changes through detailed insights and informed decision-making.
You will be a part of the Nordic team Purchasing Development & Digitalization and work cross-functionally with stakeholders throughout the organization.
Your main responsibilities include;
Owning NCC Purchasing’s quarterly reporting including KPI Monitoring & analysis, budgeting & forecasting and continuous development of the area
Strategic planning for PD&D – long term objectives, aligning OKRs etc.
Providing strategic analysis to PD&D
Owning and developing the agenda for our quarterly Purchasing Development Forum with the Purchasing management team
Leading prioritized development projects and activities
About Purchasing at NCC

Your experience and background
We are looking for a person who is proactive, result-oriented and who has a structured approach to work. You have a strong collaborative mindset with focus on building relationships across functions. We also see that you are analytical, detail-oriented and able to handle complexity in strategic and operational tasks.
It is furthermore important that you embrace self-leadership and have an exceptional drive and ‘get it done’ mentality and don’t hesitate to try different approaches to find your way forward. Communicating complexity in a crisp and clear way comes natural to you, and we believe you have a great ability to quickly “connect the dots” and connect independent issues to the bigger picture.
Requirements specification
M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Business administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Construction or Engineering or equivalent
5 years of experience in strategy, data analysis, reporting, or related roles
Proven experience in strategic planning, performance management, and/or project management
Background in Construction industry or project-based business appreciated
Strong skills in data analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI development, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and translate insights into actionable strategies
Experienced in strategic planning, goal-setting frameworks like OKRs, and aligning initiatives with organizational objectives.
Proven ability to lead development projects, manage priorities, and deliver results within deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing forums and engaging senior leadership.
Excellent presentation skills and fluent in any of the Nordic languages as well as in English – can write reports and hold presentations in English.

Additional information
You will be based at one of NCC’s major offices in the Nordics. Frequent traveling is required. However, we do apply a flexible way of working and strive to collaborate digitally as much as possible. In accordance with NCCs safety culture we conduct background checks on final candidates.
